With the ever growing size of cruise ships, Holland America takes its first serious step over the 2000 passenger barrier. The Nieuw Amsterdam IV weighs in at 86000 tons and hopes to carry on the tradition with which her mother, grandmother, and great grandmother established. To enhance her rich history a large investment has been placed into the artwork which will be found around the ship.
